Is my data safe?
Account connections are read-only, made through Plaid, a regulated aggregator, and encrypted at rest. Plaid never gives us your bank password. We never sell your financial data: you pay us, so we do not need to.
Do I have to connect a bank?
No. The free score needs zero logins. Connecting accounts or uploading files is optional, and both paths are first-class ways to use the app.
Is the score real, or a gimmick?
It simulates a shock against your real finances across six determinants and was validated on U.S. Census Bureau survey data: 24,162 households, predicting real hardship better than a simple savings-runway rule of thumb. The method is published; the exact weights are not, the same boundary every serious score keeps. The underlying public dataset is the Census Bureau's Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP).
Can I get my data out?
Yes, any day, one export, full file, including the day you leave.
What happens to my score if I cancel?
Billing stops and you keep the ability to export everything. The free score estimate stays free and available without an account. The full app's living score, recomputed as your finances change, needs an active subscription.
Is WealthAge on iPhone or Android?
Web today, built for your phone's browser. Native apps are on the roadmap; this page will carry the links the day they ship, and not a day before.
How is this different from Copilot or Monarch?
They organize what already happened. WealthAge also tells you how many months you would last if income stopped, with a validated number and reason codes, free before you ever connect an account.
What does it cost?
The score is free forever. The app is $129 a year or $14.99 a month, one plan, no feature tiers, no ads, no selling your data.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT about my money?
General AI assistants can discuss your finances, but none publish a validated resilience score or a shareable, glass-box number that is yours and never leaves.
